This book is made up of articles I have written for Skeptical Inquirer concerning my research into the world of modern psychic mediums. I knew 2015-2026 were busy years for me, but had no idea there were 70 essays. Now they are here, all of them in one place. I explain the stings, my motivations, the players from all sides and my shifting opinion of why people continue to believe in mediumship when there is no evidence for their validity. The articles are in chronological order of publication which I think makes this book more readable and useful for future investigators. I have lightly edited my original Skeptical Inquirer articles, but added many more images for your enjoyment.

This book is for anyone interested in the history of the scientific skepticism movement concerning paranormal investigations. It is also for those interested in why people believe and why people like myself continue to investigate when they know there will be no quick solution and most people will refuse to accept my evidence. My detractors (which are many) will label me as a naysayer evil atheist jealous old woman who wants to remove all hope in the world.

It's a tough gig, but I stand by my research. Besides, my cats love me.
