Olcott, Henry S. PEOPLE FROM THE OTHER WORLD. A beautiful 1972 edition of the seminal 1875 book on Spiritualism and ghosts from Colonel Olcott. Lavishly illustrated by Alfred Kappes and T.W. Williams. If you own either of my books; “Mediums, Well Done!” or “Sense and Séance,” both have several illustrations “borrowed” from this work. I have a first edition that is scarce in any condition and I have never seen another, besides this newer printing. Inside the reader will find line drawings and séance renderings that Edward Gorey most certainly gained much in the way of inspiration from. A great little edition to any mediums’ library. Near fine in dj.
